Is Appsheet suitable for creating inventory control system for SME?

Hello,

I am new to appsheet and am considering using appsheet to create frontend to inventory control system for SME (including tracking stock real time, po form, summary report ,etc.) to replace the one that I created by MS Access.

  1. Can appsheet be used to do that?
  2. Does appsheet have any disadvantage compare to MS Access?
  3. I havenโ€™t found much tutorial on youtube. I just learn a bit from video on Udemy. Where can I learn more sample and tutorial for creating more complex app.

Thank you

Yes, Iโ€™d roll with Appsheet for that.

I know @MultiTech_Visions created these neat in app guides, and has been educating for this platform forever. And @Stefan_Quartemont is behind AppsheetTraining.com

@Asa_Wu Inventory control is a perfect use-case for AppSheet.

MS Access can be extended by VBA, and AppSheet is truly no-code. However, AppSheetโ€™s expression language, Actions, and Workflows allow you to build enterprise level business logic into your apps. You canโ€™t do everything you could do with code, but the possibilities are large.

AppSheet is also online/offline stable, mobile responsive, gives you access to device level APIโ€™s like Camera and Scanners, and has automated document generation via Workflows. Itโ€™s an excellent replacement/modernization for MS Access.

As far as getting acquainted to the platform, @Jake_Naude has a great roadmap to follow
