Is it possible in AppSheet to display a column value that comes from an external source?

Is it possible in AppSheet to display a column value that comes from an external source?

For example, I have a column named ‘status’. The value for this column is updated by a batch job in an external database. This external database is connected to AppSheet, so the status value is also reflected in the AppSheet database. Will this value be displayed in the application’s UI? Thank you.

If that data source is connected to your app, yes you can read and use it.
