Map view header shows slice name

I can't figure out how to set a custom name for the map view header that shows up after a click on an inline gps action.

Is it even possible to define a custom name for that view?

It's possible that the app is showing an "on the fly" view - i.e. one that is not explicitly defined.  You can define your own to over come that problem BUT let's make sure that IS the issue...

While in the AppSheet Editor, navigate to your Map view.  At the bottom of the Emulator panel, there is a property named "View".  Does this show a pre-defined view name?

If it does then simply tap that view name to be taken to that specific view.  Then edit the "Display name" property under the "Display" section to the name you prefer to show on the app.

If the "View" shows view that is NOT defined in the app, then you want to add a Map view under the Reference section of Views.  Set the data source of that Map view to your Slice.  Then edit the "Display name" property in this new view".  You will also have the freedom to change any of the other Map view properties to your liking.

I hope this helps!

Thank you, but for some unknown reason the issue vanished from alone. I can't even reproduce it anymore.
