Hi everyone!!

I have a an expense app which has specific categories of expense.

I also have 2 views for this app:

  • Table view - Group by category and aggregate sum:: ValueScreenshot 2022-02-07 at 14.13.30.png
  • Chart view - aggregate pie chart, group aggregate: sum::value and chart columns: CategoryScreenshot 2022-02-07 at 14.13.40.png

I need the table to separate expenses by month and have no idea how to achieve this...

Can anyone please help how to achieve this?

So, what you can do is you can either set up a second view where you have expense by month and create virtual columns that aggregate this data.

Or you can set up a filter and place it within the dashboard where you select if you want lifetime or monthly or weekly views of this data and use that selection to change which view you are seeing. I have linked a course that helped me understand how to do this as well.
