I have a client for whom AppSheet may be a perfect solution, depending on pricing structure.
Client needs to have 74 unique logins/users. My simple math equates that to $740/month.
Question 1 - Do those users need to have a Workspace account in ADDITION to the $10/mo AppSheet license fee?
Question 2 - If the users do not need to have Workspace accounts, can the 74 licensed users use their own (likely non-google) email addresses to log in?
Question 3 - Does the "Public App" version have the ability to be used as a device-native app without internet connectivity like the paid app?
Question 4 - I have a Workspace account, and will be designing and implementing the AppSheet App for a client. Can the billing for the AppSheet account be set up as being paid by the client (e.g. THEIR credit card info)?
Question 5 - If the client needs to set up their own AppSheet/Workspace account to pay for the AppSheet users, can the AppSheet App be created by me in my account, then somehow transferred to the client's account for publishing/use?
Question 1: Nop, Workspace is not needed to use AppSheet.
Question 2: Sure, they just need to use one of the available auth providers. For reference: Google, Microsoft, Smartsheet, Dropbox, Salesforce, Box or Apple. Although I just have used Microsoft and Google
Question 3: Any app has this ability as far as I know when they are used on a device.
Question 4: No, you would need them to log in to AppSheet with their own account and you would have permits to edit their apps
Question 5: Sure, then you could even have edit permissions from your account eventhough the app is on their account

Following up - so client logs into AppSheet with their own account, and we create the blank/basic app in the client account, then client gives me edit permissions for the app. Is Client charged a user license fee for my access to the app?

FU: If you use your account just to edit (I mean interact with it via the AppSheet editor and Emulator, not the app itself as a user) the app won't consider you as a user.
Auth providers mean that AppSheet doesn't have a Log in method of Mail and Password, it relies on other services.
So any Gmail/GSuite Outlook/Hotmail/Live/Office365 account will suffice
Question 4: Google allows you to create several Payment Profiles, for purposes like managing different businesses or customer accounts.
