Setting up Email Feature

I am creating Lead Sheet App and I’m issues with my workflow.

Step 1: Lead entered into the app and Sales Rep is selected out of 10 sales people

Action: Email the Sales Rep and send them a text message.
(I have a table PeopleToInform)

I can’t get this process to work properly. What are the steps to perform this action?
