Show Local Changes - UX DISASTER!

@Appsheet_Admin Show Local Changes on the App Menu is a disaster for the end user!

It’s a very bad user experience!

User gets a page of techie stuff, but more importantly than that they can’t go back to where they came from DUH!

I would have thought that this would have been dealt with in basic user testing? It’s a pretty basic flaw in in usability in the appsheet system.

Hey PocketSurvey,

Sorry to hear you have been having some trouble with the UX. Do you have any screenshots of what you/your users are experiencing? Maybe we can try and come up with a solution to make it better for navigation throughout the app.

Have a good one!

It’s just part do the AppSheet system system.

Is needs a clear Back navigation options either at the top or fixed at the bottom of the screen.

Just try the menu when the app is syncing and you will see.

try it on the mobile device.

This is needed when your users can’t push their changes to the server and should go away if the data is already synced.
If you don’t want them to see that at all, I guess your only option would be to hide the menu completely.

Yes I know why its there.

It is part of the AppSheet system and not controllable by the App designer.

When a user chooses that option it needs a clear way to navigate BACK, either by a Back button at the top, or fixed at the bottom of the screen.

Simple UI practice.

The Android Back feature does not work so it need a navigation provided by AppSheet by AppSheet.

User of App are not meant to be technical and anything that is not obvious causes them to panic!

A good training to your users could prevent panic.
I’ve found that users accept the way something works if you explain them why and how

Ha. Of course training helps, but a good app should require minimal training.

@Appsheet_Admin It’s just bad interface design and could be fixed very easily. I don’t think Apple would allow such a UI design.

Maybe you are looking for something that AppSheet is not

This UI bug still has not been resolved.  If a user open the local changes file, there is no way back but to exit the app and reopen it.
