Speeding up processes called by actions

HI Everyone.

I have a number of scenarios in my app where either a grouped set of actions OR a process is invoked. In both cases I seem to have a really long period to wait for things to sync. Even though they should be running in the background. Its as is I have to wait for the actions/processes to complete before sync happens.

Currently there are less that 10 records in each table, so its not the volume of records to sync. Any ideas where I should be looking first to optimise this - or is this just the way AppSheet works?
