Switch views after saving

Hi! So i have several child tables used as forms that ref a parent table in a deck view that displays the child tables as rows on the table.

I have a link to view action setup that takes you to the associated table as a form view when the row is selected.

is there a way I can switch views to a detail view when the child form is saved so if the user wants to re-visit the already saved row to make additional edits to that section it will display their already entered data in detail view until the parent table is saved and then go back to opening rows as forms again?

Use the "finish view" option on the form.

Thanks for the response! Since i have an action set to open the column as a form view initially that prevents the ability to go back and see the detail view or "finish view" for the row from the parent deck view.

I don't understand what you're wanting.
