Sync Error with trying to use LINKTEXT for the column label

Hi,

I have a column named "Household" which is a type "URL" and have selected the option to have it be a hyperlink. That way when data is entered the link text can be entered as well as the URL. This works great except that I want the link text to be the table label, not the URL.

To try and make the link text the label I have created a virtual column to be the label and used this formula "LINKTEXT([Household]). This seems to work but when adding in a new "Household" I receive a sync error from AppSheet which I am providing a picture of below.

Any thoughts on how to correct this sync error or a different way to make the link text show up as the label instead of the URL?

What URL and text did you use? I made a quick test and for me it works just fine. I tested with a normal and virtual column with the same formula.

I have an initial value of "https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive" for the Text and URL. I do not have the sync error if I keep both of those as the initial value. I receive the sync error when I try changing the Text to any other words and leaving the URL the same.

I guess I could try not having an initial value. I put that in though as this is a required field and I wanted to have something in as the default and allow people to change to a different Text and URL if they chose to.
