Guidance please.
With no obvious trigger, I've started to get repeated warnings across 6 tables in my app.
Your system-generated action 'View Ref (userID)' has been erroneously duplicated. We've marked it as non-system-generated so you can fix or delete it.
I've tried restarting my browser; regenerating the schemas... but with no change and just more View Refs being added with each regen. How can I stop it / fix it?
Hi how are things
They were able to solve this problem
same issue here , any help!!!!
I'm having the same issue as well. The bug is also triggered whenever you close and open the browser tab with the app. I hope this is fixed soon!
That is a serious problem because my users are exposed to information they should not be exposed to🚨🚨🚨
Same issue here!
Please help!!!
Same problem with me too, I was starting to panic thinking it was just me!
I'm really hoping they're able to roll these back for us. I've had to update at least half a dozen apps today due to an organizational shift, so I have these coming out of my ears right now whether I like it or not.
Also, has anyone else noticed that since this bug came up, you can no longer click the text for your refs in the apps, you have to use the round arrows off to the right?
Yes! The text is no longer clickable, just the icons to the right
Same here
Same here, and it’s affecting two of my apps. I hope this gets fixed soon.
same issue here
Oh no, same problem here. I have 20 Errors & Warnings like this:
Your system-generated action 'Open Url (url)' has been erroneously duplicated. We've marked it as non-system-generated so you can fix or delete it.
It's getting worse when i try to delete it.
Yo también tengo el mismo problema... y finalmente si me pongo a eliminar dichas acciones, al guardar o sincronizar se vuelven a generar, incluso a veces se duplican en mas ocasiones. Os han dado alguna solución? Gracias
I have similar issue, repeated system generated errors , tried deleting but keeps coming back, please fix, thank you.
A notification in the app editor would be much appreciated for these situations. I imagine this would also save the support team from being overloaded with customer service calls.
Same!
It is creating a serious problem for the users as the interfaces are autogenerating these links..
YES !!!!! a serious problem
help!! Is there any solution?
In my app it is resolved, but you will have to delete every duplicated action created. ☹️
All -- the issue should be resolved! Please contact AppSheet Support if you are still experiencing any issues.
I still see the duplicated actions, should I start removing those now then?
Thank you!
Any solution to remove all the duplicate actions that remain? Do we have to delete them one by one? 😶 I don't think there is any other solution 😟
Lo mismo!
Good morning, have you deleted the actions manually? Thanks
I have raised the issue of duplicate actions remaining after the fix. Will keep you posted on the outcome. Sincere apologies again for the inconvenience.
I did not open/edit/use this app during the period of the defect.
It largely looks unscathed, except for one table which has 5 duplicated actions.
Elsewhere I have been able to manually delete the duplicated action but here all 5 are marked as "System generated" and there is no Delete option.
Please advise.
Also, I believe previously that it was possible to delete system generated actions and have them fully recreated automatically at next save? Has that functionality need removed?
Any update information about this? There is any other solution for deleted all the duplicated actions apart from doing it 1 by 1 ?
Thanks in advance
This is for one DB only. Think for all the other DBs 😞 Can I restore the old version or is it useless?
Yep. Me too. Closed app sheet and quit for the day. I really hope it’s stopped
Personally, I am not touching anything

It it reported as fixed (stopped). No update on whether duplicates will be automatically cleared.
For what it's worth, my apps are responding correctly and I have been able to manually delete the duplicates without them being recreated.

This is actually existing and expected behavior. When a column has only one inline action, you can click on either the column value or the action button to activate the action, but if there is more than one inline action for the column, you must click on the action button.
Notice how it took several hours for someone to even acknowledge a problem. Notice that someone was not someone from support, a developer, or a manager. Notice there was no formal acknowledgement or announcement at all. Notice that there were no status updates. Notice that the developers had to be prodded to fix the mess created by the bug. Notice that there has been no formal explanation or apology.
I couldnt help but notice all of those things! I appreciate this comment!
Also, WTAF ?
I have suggested a rebate on our subscriptions. Yeah! I can estimate how much otherwise billable time I had to put into trying to troubleshoot a mistake I didn't make. And subsequently trying to find some kind of adequate official reference to the issue. Income lost for sure
(edited to add) Oh ya, thanks JLM for pointing out below, there is now the time I will have to put in to fixing these ... as soon as I feel confident its actually resolved. Sad that it may have to be based on a feeling, rather than some type of global message from above.
Yeah, by the time I fix everything and redo what I was trying to do when this happened, I will have lost 2 entire days to this issues.
Preach!
