System generated actions replicating like rabbits?

I was here this morning scrolling through all the posts related to this topic, looking for some kind of info or advice from support. I found one so far, buried in the middle of a thread. It was basically just acknowledgement of the issue. I doubt I am alone in this opinion, but messaging regarding this issue shouldn't be buried in a reply in the community forums. Two much better ideas come to mind:

1) Highlight it up top in the editor - not everyone uses these forums. At one point I thought I had leaned on my keyboard and accidentally caused mass replication.

2) make a standalone post here in Announcements - second best option as not everyone comes here, or will realize its not their own error.

I opened and closed the editor so many times, cleared cache, etc etc. Trying to troubleshoot yesterday, and then combing through these forums for something helpful, has been a huge timesuck,

It would be nice to have some feedback or advice? e.g. "Its ok / not ok to continue using the editor" or "don't make changes because we don't know yet if we will have to rollback"

There's nothing official and easy to find posted yet, right?

I came here to post the same thing. Hundreds of duplicate actions and having to delete them one-by-one. Really hope all my work the last few days isn't going to be undone

I'm currently deleting events manually. It is possible for me. It's a lot of work, but not that much. They interfere a lot with users. In particular, the file type columns display the icon on the front end maybe 15 times next to each other, and that is already quite unpleasant for the user.
I am making sure that those actions are not duplicated again. Ok so far.
I see it as a rather big problem and I think that even the authors themselves don't really know how to deal with it. But I believe that they are diligently looking for the best solution and will let us know.

I admire your faith

My bad. lol. someone did whisper something relevant

History suggests otherwise.
