Dear AppSheet team and community, I will likely have to contact support because I am experiencing a strange behavior with the AppSheet database.
The issue is that I have a very simple app, and the problem is that when I add a record using the '+' button, this action adds two rows instead of one (it always happens when there is no data in the table previously), which has led me to create a bot to correct the error. I also wanted to mention that it is not possible to add rows if there are empty fields; they are required fields, and to add more complexity, all of them have validation rules, which should make it impossible to save them empty.
It's strange that two rows are being saved. Has this happened to anyone else? I haven't seen anything like this in the community.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Even though I've been dealing with this, the reality is that it wasn't getting fixed, not even by changing the database to Google Sheets and back to AppSheet Database.
I had to rebuild the app; now it doesn't happen. It would be good if AppSheet decided whether or not to continue with this project (AppSheet Database) because we trust AppSheet and use it (I particularly use it for cases that need high concurrency and synchronization speed), but dealing with these kinds of issues is frustrating.
