Hi,
I need the COS() function in one of my formulas. Right now Appsheet is lacking trigonometric functions. Is there a formula to replace the COS() function?
Thank you!
Do you need to calculate the value of a Cos(xยฐ) only?
My formula looks something like this. =yVal / COS((PI()/180)*xVal)
xVal is an angle in degrees.
@Vlad_Roman
So you actually convert the angle to the radians firstโฆActually itโs possible to get the COS(degree) with the COSINE THEOREM provided you have the measures of the legs for that angle. Trigonometric functions are not available in AppSheet but itโs possible to solve the equation with quadratic functions of algebra.
Have you thought about using spreadsheet expression?
