Two tables one detail view, Slice/ IF

Hey there!
So I have two tables; People and Bands.

I am showing their inline view in a dashboard, and would like to show the detail view for either or in a single component. SO detail view for a user selected person OR detail view for a user selected band… is there some way to make a slice which will allow the detail view of those two tables to be shown in one dashboard component?

LINKTOROW() maybe appropriate here? Basically I need a slice that switches dynamically between two detail view sets… thoughts?

Nope.

The only way to do something like that currently would be to have all the information in one table and somehow creatively get it to do what you want. It would be an overly-complex and easy to break setup.
