Two views for one table (How to)

Hello, the default View of a table is the one I need to keep when a New record of the table will be added. But, I would like to see a different View for the same table, when I am only Searching records of the table. How can I create a second View and use it only when I found a record and want to edit it? (different as when I am adding a new record.)

Thank you for your help.
Omar.

Hi Omar,

I think you can use Slices feature but Iโ€™m not quite sure what are you triying to do. Could you be more spesific? Maybe add some screenshots. That would be helpful to all in the comunity.

Best regads.

Hello Cesar, sorry I was trying to do my best, but every day getting farder from where I want to be. My problem with views or/and slices its because I only want the App do the following:

  1. Table โ€œCasesโ€ (I need a view for Adding Cases, and a view (default) for searching this Cases table. This second View or Slice, should contain only some fields, basic fields because a regular user will search for some Cases and he doesโ€™t need to see all fields related to Cases when is searching. Only some fields in the Search momento. Just necesary to find a Case.

  2. another table called โ€œLoggerโ€. The daily and regular task of a user is to search this โ€œCasesโ€ for some cases assigned to him. When he tap the Case, It should open and bring now all information the Case has. And now every day he need to โ€œADDโ€ a Log or Comment on that Case. So the table โ€œLoggerโ€ will contain Comments (several) for each Case in the table โ€œCasesโ€.

  3. I already have both tables builded, but Can not make the view of a Cases record, to show past logs and a button to Add a new Log (comment).

Sorry if this is to long.

Omar.

oh, perfect Cesar. I am new, I will read about Slices and do my work, then Iโ€™ll come back to you. Thank you very much Cesar.
