Upgrade from Appsheet Core to Appsheet Enterprise Standard

Hi,

We have been using Appsheet Core but want to upgrade to Enterprise Standard, we have 20 users.

I have been trying to upgrade for around 2 months. Everytime I chat or email someone they tell me sales will call me but they never do - it is very frustrating. We now need to upgrade urgently. Has anyone successfully upgraded? Is there anyone I can speak to who can just get it done?

Thanks

I saw the same claims from the community in the past, hundreds of times, or probably more.

Unfortunately, there is no quick fix, as it depends on Google teams.

Are you Google Workspace users and holding the GWS licences?

AFAIK, you need GWS account up and running to get AppSheet Enterprise lisences. This is my latest understanding after speaking to Google team.

If you are MS Office users, not holding a GWS licences, then there is no possiblities to purchase AppSheet Enterprise plan. The only one way you buy AppSheet Enterprise plan under this circumstances, is to buy new GWS lisences first and append AppSheet  Enterprise licenses.

not good news to MS users.....  @SkrOYC

I know this is tricky and difficult, but this is how Google wish to sale the tool to the public.

AppSheet is now standing as Add-on to GWS product. So if you dont have GWS, then it is impossible to get the lisences .....

If you have a Google Workspace, request help from Google Workspace Billing Support. They reliably follow up, even if it can still take a long time for them to get engagement from AppSheet Sales Support.

Also, while I don't have direct experience, my interpretation of another recent conversation in the forum is that it contradicts the following understanding.

@dbaum It depends you trust me or not.

I certainly defer to your long and direct experience, as I have none in this situation.

I m talking to directly to Google personnels occassionally that this is not a good way to promote appsheet to the potential new users....

If they are MS user and no GWS account, then it is super difficult to get access Appsheet alone......

If I were Google sale personnel, I will push Appsheet first to let the users how AppSheet is going to be useful, then let them onboard GWS afterwards... switch back from MS to Google for Office Suite.

However, my voice never reached out to their heart... ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

GWS accont is essential to get to AppSheet enterprise..

What!!!! This is insane!

It's time for me to start moving my personal projects to Glide or coding if this is true

No, you cant move away from there. I m just beside you as a friend. I know your frastration, but it is my frastration.

Things could change as always. Let s keep fingres crossed.ใ€€There is always a hope.

Stay here.

The problem is that I don't see them going into ways that really listens to their users, the ones that helped shape the platform.
Just take a look at Gmail or GDocs, GSheets, etc. They do whatever they want and change stuff the way they think will benefit users, because the products are theirs.
AppSheet has fallen into the same thing. It's not an awesome platform that's growing anymore, it's just a product under Google's umbrella and they will shape it the way they want it.

It's just sad

The problem is the โ€use cases" and "what the users wish to have with platform" is left behind these days.

When I started appsheet back in 2017, the simple voice posted to the community to get the new feature to help use cases we voices were taken immidiately (as far as it is reasonable). But as we know, the future quest category not really attended here in this community, but all the features being added are not reflecting such a voice.

Google team need to follow the voices from the users, rather than chasing own ways. wihtout user support, things are failing.

This is a risk with AppSheet I observed.

New AppSheet database, New chat app. I will ban them with my account, as it will not help the our use cases at all.   Spent sometime to conside how those new features will improve the efficiency, productivities and usabilities of AppSheet apps, but I could not come up with any answers. So my own conclutsion is to ban those, to avoid the disruption by my clients and app creators we are looking after.....

My intention was not to hijack this thread.

Hope @MarcusMinexx will get respose back from Google right team. Good luck.

The new policy seems to be "If you like it the way it is, stay. If you don't, we don't care, look elsewhere"

FlutterFlow (low-code Flutter) has a new direct integration with Supabase.

Dart 3 is on the horizon, and I keep studying and practicing with Flutter (code) so I guess my path is partialy clear if things keep going as they are currently here
