User Data Security

I developed an app which I am hoping to use with our distribution partner for our manufactured products. However, I received a bit of pushback from their IT department in regard to what information is required for their sales team to use the app. I have used AppSheet extensively for the past 2-3 years; however, this is a new one for me.

Once the users click on the invitation link, they are met with the following message:

"Approval Required...

This app requires your admin's approval to:
- View users' basic profile
- Maintain access to data you have given it access to
- Have full access to user files
- Edit or delete items in all site collections"

Could I receive some clarification as to the level of users' data that would be available to AppSheet? For example, if they are utilizing Microsoft's email platform, does AppSheet have full access to this or to any server related data that is not applicable?

I assume not, but I wanted to get some clarification so I can move forward with our partners.

AFAIK, if their using it on a browser, they are really just authenticating their email address. It grants the App no more permision on their computer than any other website has.

On a phone they have the option to grant some permissions in advance such as location, camera, access to files and folders etc.  But these are optional and can be changed.

Not sur if this helps or I'm not really getting what your asking.
