Using Format Rules for Grouped Virtual Columns.

Looking to see if it is possible to have the Grouped presentation to use the Format Rules when grouping a Virtual column.  

Below is what is happening.  I have a virtual column called Month.

When grouping in a table the Month, it does not use the Format Rule for the Group headers, but the column does get the Format Rule assigned.   

Any help is much appreciated.
