Where is Appsheet data processed?

Hello,

I would like some clarifications about Appsheet and GDPR.

As far as i understand, Appsheet is part of Google Cloud and it does not store any data on its cloud but it process the data.

Where is the data processed? As i am in Europe, i need to be sure data of my applications is processed in Europe. Is there any documentation about that?

I believe AppSheet is GDPR compliant with dedicated servers in Europe to process app data.

Thanks for your answer. I have been reading these documents for the last few days but i can't find where it says that Google uses dedicated servers in Europe.

I would recommend reaching out to AppSheet support to get your specific question answered. I don't want to be responsible mis-interpreting or incorrectly remembering, what I have heard or read over the years.

The EU made "a decision on adequacy" concerning the USA (https://www.insideprivacy.com/eu-u-s-data-privacy-framework/european-commission-adopts-adequacy-deci... in July 2023. Since then, US companies can enroll in the Data Privacy Framework Program. Google has done so (https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/participant-search).

It is my understanding that using a US company on this list is equal to using a European company, in GDPR terms.

You just have to use the standard support ticket and ignore some of the input they ask for. They will figure it out.
