Workflow emails not being received

hi All,

Are any of you have issues with workflow emails. ?
We just stopped receiving them

I just tested and got mine.

hi, when i do the test i receive it as well however when its via the normal capture via app i am not receiving the mails

No I meant when I ran a test by going to one of my apps and triggering an email inside it - it worked.

ok perfect, let me restart my app and see it that makes a difference

i am still not receiving the mails. Is there anything I need to look at to see where the problem is?

Not sure if its related, but it looks like on Wed all my workflow URL have been partially trashed. Luckily I had an older version I could copy them out of. Said this in version history

The first thing to check is Audit History as described in this article https://help.appsheet.com/en/articles/961739-troubleshooting-workflow-emails

If that does not resolve the problem, please provide:

  1. Account id
  2. App name
  3. Workflow rule name

The problem Simon described only affected webhook URLs.
Is does not affect email workflows.

Rule “Damage Report” has an error in the attachment template.

The Audit History is contains the following error:

Errors: ‘Error: Workflow rule ‘Damage report’ action ‘Email’ Attachment template. Expression ‘[Serial Number]’ is invalid due to: Unable to find column ‘Serial Number’, did you mean ‘Claim Number’?. Error: Workflow rule ‘Damage report’ action ‘Email’ Attachment template. Expression ‘[Model Number]’ is invalid due to: Unable to find column ‘Model Number’, did you mean ‘Claim Number’?. Error: Workflow rule ‘Damage report’ action ‘Email’ Attachment template. Expression ‘[Specs]’ is invalid due to: Unable to find column ‘Specs’, did you mean ‘Notes’?. Error: Workflow rule ‘Damage report’ action ‘Email’ Attachment template. Expression ‘[Product Type]’ is invalid due to: Unable to find column ‘Product Type’.’

You can see the error more easily by doing the following:

  1. Open the app in the Editor
  2. Go to the Behavior > Workflow tab
  3. Select rule “Damage Report”
  4. Click “Disable” and then “Enable”
  5. Click the “Save and verify data”. This will verify the attachment template and you will see the errors in the template. When you have workflow rules you should choose the “Save and verify data” option if you want to verify your workflow templates.

Be aware that since your app is not yet deployed, the email will only be sent to the app owner.
