Yes/No Field Change Display

Hi,
I have created a Yes/No field in my table and also conditionally formatted it
So it shows icon (using format rules) and Yes/No
Example:
*Y
#N
However, I only want to show the icon

• or # based on Yes or No

Please help!

If I understand you correctly you want a column to show ONLY an Icon. I do not think there is a way to show only the conditional format and NOT show the column value.

I have played with options for this. Below is an example of an app I built where the first two columns are status ICON columns.

The best solution I have found is to use a DEDICATED column for the icon. The best Type of column for this icon is a COLOR column in which you assign the APP FORMULA as “”, i.e. no color. The reason for the COLOR type is that it is a narrow column. Then set the conditional format for this dedicated icon column based on your Yes/No column value.

Yes please any more info about your suggestion: i'd like to add an icon check (icon red/icon green) in a DEDICATED column and want to change status (red/green) when click on it in in the App, is it possible ?
