Hi, everybdy. How to make a validation rule to ensure that a column can only be filled with text? If it's filled with numbers or other punctuation marks, it will be invalid.

Thank you.

What you are looking for may not be very easily possible in AppSheet.

However, for properly spelling out the requirement,  you may want to elaborate what you mean by punctuation marks- what is acceptable and what not.

For example,  is it purely alphabetical or will some special characters such as "_" or "-" will do?

Edit: Anyway, please take a look at the following solution and suitably modify it.

"I'm sorry, let me clarify. I mean the column can only be filled with alphabets. So if numbers is entered, a message will appear saying, 'The data you're inputting is invalid.'"
