"AppSheet Error __:parsererror" What to do?

The program has not been working for the third day. The day before, everything was fine, and on Monday, in the editor, when syncing the preview of the application and in the application itself, it writes: parsererror.

On Monday, I contacted the support service, but so far only "We are working on your problem.". Has anyone found a solution?

What we tried didn't help:

  • Regenerate the structure of all tables
  • Delete unnecessary tables and reports
  • Reduce the size of the largest tables
  • Make a copy of the application
  • Remove the last entered formulas and virtual columns
  • Open the editor and the application from different browsers
  • Deleting all user settings
  • Stopping bots and parts of processes
  • Disabling formatting rules

etc..

For the third day, my work is on pause, tasks are accumulating at a terrible rate. Does anyone know what else could be the cause of such a bug?

Screenshot 2024-06-26 085600.pngOne thing you can do is restore to previous version. Find a stable version that still works in the version history and go from there. Also seeing at what app version point the app broke and investigate on what caused it.

Unfortunately, all the versions that are available to me give the same error. They are only available to me until Thursday, when everything was still working, but even the versions of that day now give the same error. And the earlier ones are not displayed in the list (

Are your key values unique ids?

I checked it again, there are no duplicate keys. There are no warnings in the application at all.

Are there any error messages output in the application?
If there are no error messages, then there may be a problem on the spreadsheet side, which is the data source.

There is some unnecessary input outside of the columns.
There are unnecessary entries away from the last row.

Check the above.

The editor does not issue any errors. I checked the tables themselves several times, there are no extra rows, I deleted the empty ones where they appeared. The column names also match everywhere, I don't rename them in the editor itself. I don't know what else to check..

Try deleting all columns without column names once in the spreadsheet and regenerate them for all tables on the app side.

there are no empty columns without names in my spreadsheets. I delete them before creating the application. or I don't quite understand what exactly you are suggesting to do, could you write in a little more detail? Thanks in advance

Yesterday the application started working, today it gives the same error again. This is some kind of horror. At the same time, the support service did not give any answer except "wait, we are working on your problem"

The same error was confirmed in my application and I was able to solve it just now!

Please try to respond to the following if it helps

Error status

ใƒปNo history of app changes in the editor for about 2 weeks.

ใƒปYesterday, all of a sudden, the app could not be loaded or data synced.

ใƒปWhen I reload the app, the mockup on the right side of the editor screen shows __:parserror.

Fixes

ใƒปDelete superfluous columns and blank columns in the table.

ใƒปCheck table and column names

ใƒปExecution of each table regenerate

Resolve the problem.

ใƒปDeleted all records (15,000 rows) in the table with the highest number of records as a trial.

โ†’The problem was solved by being able to synchronize.

We hypothesize that perhaps we had reached the maximum number of records that the app could read.

If you do not have a history of editor changes, or if you are in doubt about the number of records allowed and used by your plan, please try this!

Hi, today we got the same exact error. We have a School App with +50 tables from different sources (G.Sheets, Dropbox, Excel), +40 views, and a lot of automation. We started by regenerating each table. It was not necesarry to repeat it on every table of the app. And then the app sarted syncing again with the last version (I had tried restoring 20 versions back uselessly)

Hope your enjoy Appsheet as we do.

Claudio

For the same error; I cleaned Chrome. It was solved.
