select first blank field in form

I created a form for scanning barcodes using an external scanner. The last piece of the puzzle is selecting the barcode field. I know there is auto advance forms, but since my values are prefilled (with the exception of the barcode), it requires a tab to select the barcode field and then scan.

Any workarounds for this? TIA!

If your barcode field is a required input field, I believe if you order it so it is the first field on the Form, auto-advance will automatically open the scanner for barcode input.

Thank you for the reply. I actually don’t want it to open the camera app. And if it’s the first field, then auto save doesn’t work. So it has to be the last field.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to control which field the Form places the cursor into when the Form is launched.
