Why did we create this Community?
The Cloud FinOps and Cost Optimization Community is a significant investment across multiple teams, including Product Management, Customer Success, Developer Relations, Support, and more. Everyone is pitching in - including all the customers who helped who helped push us and are fierce advocates for the community in all its forms. I want to personally thank you all and invite you to continue sharing your feedback so we can always be improving.
In building this Community, we seek to answer questions such as:
- How can we help you get your Cloud FinOps and Cost Optimization questions answered?
- How can we help you make connections with each other and Googlers?
- How can we improve adoption and effectiveness of Cloud FinOps practices?
We’ll be doing this in a few different ways:
- Discussion forum (where you are now!): Ask questions, join conversations, and share “likes.”
- Community events: Participate in webinars and “Ask Me Anything” Q&A sessions with the experts (like this one!)
- Community blogs: Explore and engage with tips, tricks, and tutorials authored by Googlers and other FinOps practitioners (like this one!)
Ultimately, we want this to be a place that will help you reach your goals - while having some fun along the way!

- Stay up-to-date by subscribing to this forum - learn how to customize your subscriptions and notifications here
