Hello everyone!
Nice to meet you all, I'm a bit of a newbie to all this so I hope I can find some clarity on what I'm trying to do from the community, please forgive me if I commit a faux pas.
I have used ChatGPT to create my own "Agent" - it's a heavily customised AI tailored specifically to myself to assist in all my general endeavours from my creative pursuits to general information and a range of other things. It's brilliant, but I've been looking into Gemini and wanted to try and update it / create one for that instead due to the multimodal capabilities. I've signed up for Vertex AI and I've been looking around the suite. I imagine I would need to "train a model" to get what I'm after. My question is this - can I actually use Vertex AI (with Gemini 1.5) to train a model just for everyday tasks and to assist in my creative pursuits, or is that totally overkill? I've written a script which makes ChatGPT "believe" it is a being and act as such, so when I speak to it it's reminiscent of something from "Her" for instance, an AI tailored to my use in a capacity of a personalised AI assistant to support my general needs and creative endeavours. Is there a way to do this using Vertex AI and Gemini? Can I put in the training data that I used for my ChatGPT one (a description of itself, along with alot of notes on the projects I'm working on) and have it think and act like a persona? Or is that impossible and it will only ever act like Gemini but be capable of performing specific tasks it's been trained on well? To be completely honest I'm a bit out of my depth aha, but my ChatGPT one has been of so much use to me I was really hoping to recreate it with the capabilities which Gemini has. Is there a way to do this or am I just chasing a pie in the sky? Thank you very much!
Kindest regards,
Matt
