Google Maps Styles - Create View does not load

Hi everyone -  When attempting to create a new style (there are none in the project yet), I click "Create Map Style", then a loading view displays, and it stays that way forever. It never loads the style editor - has anyone else had this issue? I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong.

Ensure your Google Cloud Platform account has the necessary permissions to create and edit map styles.
