Not able to see my project on Google API console

Hi Team,

I have an application with package name as 'com.qualys.android.agent' on Google Play Store. On Google API console, my project id is 'qmobility-205905'. Suddenly, I am not able see my project on API console. Earlier all was working fine, I was able to see my project and API Keys and OAuth creds were also present but somehow my project is not listing now.

Can you please check and help here?

Thanks in Advance, a prompt action will be appreciated.

Thanks

Sumit

Hello @sumit-qualys

Thank You for Contacting Google Cloud Community.

There are many reasons for projects not being visible in the cloud console. Here are some common causes and troubleshooting steps that you can take in order to restore the access to the project again.

1. One of the main possible reasons for not being able to see the project in the console could be due that the permissions of the account you are trying to access the project would have been altered/changed.

  • Please ask someone to check the IAM Permissions assigned to you on the project if they have access to the project you are referring to.
  • If you find that you are not having the required permissions on the project you are referring to, please ask the organization admin/project owner to give your username the required roles and permissions to gain access to the project again.
  • If you are the sole owner of the project, please be advised that super admins can assign admin on the organization to have access to the accounts. I highly suggest you add yourself as the organization admin in order for you to have access in adding your own username as the project owner of the project (or) ask the organization admin to give you the required permissions to access the project.

2.  In your Google Cloud Console, look at the top part of the dashboard to select a resource. Check the No Organization from the drop down menu. The missing projects could be there.

3. You can also check if you are using the correct Google account that is associated with the projects.

4. There is also a possibility that your project may have been deleted. Project owners can restore a deleted project within the 30 days recovery period. Check Restoring a Project

5. You can use the gcloud CLI to search for projects

Note :  We suggest you to have more than one owner to a project in-order to not lose the access to a project.

If none of the above provided options work, you can contact Google Cloud Support as it requires specific debugging and analysis. For more information, you could refer to :

1. Predefined Roles

2. Manage access to projects, folders, and organizations

I hope the above information is helpful in resolving the issue 🙂

Thanks & Regards,
