Not secure message in my website

Hi, i am new in GCP, with not much knowledge.

I have my domain www.civilengin.com under Google Cloud Console, created with Google Web Designer.

When somebody opens my website, a message "Not secure" site appears.

I followed all GCC directions, Load balancing and DNS IPs are matching, but the certificate is still FAILED_NOT_VISIBLE.

I would appreciate for some assistance on the issue.

According to the error message you are getting, I would highly suggest you follow the steps of Troubleshoot SSL certificate documentation.

I saw many problems in this website, but I will say general problems in this topic. First of all, it is better to use Google Cloud DNS instead of Cloudflare. You manage your domain records from Cloudflare, but Cloud DNS giving all functionality to you for DNS Management. 

1. Create your www subdomain and add this subdomain record to Google Cloud DNS.
2. Create CAA record your naked and subdomains. You can use this value for good CAA record.
   1. 0 iodef "mailto:abuse@ex-domain1.com"
   2. 0 issue "pki.goog"
3. Create Global Load Balancer with HTTP and HTTPS protocol and design HTTP Load Balancer "Host and Path Rules" Default section as this.
   1. Mode - Advanced host and path rule (URL redirect, URL rewrite)
   2. Action - Redirect the client to different host/path
   3. Path redirect - Prefix redirect
   4. HTTPS redirect - Enable
   5. Add host and path rule as this 
   6. 
   7. Create your SSL Certificate. You can use Google Manager Certificate or your own Let's Encrypt certificate.
   8. 
   9. Create your second HTTPS Load Balancer, buy 1 Global IP Address for your HTTPS Load Balancer and combine your SSL certificate with load balancer.
   10.

Finally and after trying a lot, the certificate became ACTIVE

But my site still appears as "Not Secure"

Hi @kostoglouk ,

Your website has an error saying "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN". Can you check if the web server is accessible via IP address?

Also, as I have checked using a 3rd party SSL checker, the certificate used by your domain is already trusted so this should be working now. You can check it here.

Despite all my long efforts, my site still appears as "Not secure", when trying to open it. Also the browser indicates that "Certificate is not valid".

I have a previously issued Active certificate and I tried to issue new one but it remains in Provisioning stage. I followed all directions and trying to solve the issue since long time.

I would appreciate for help

Hi @kostoglouk ,

I suggest you coordinate and open a support case with Google Cloud Support. They will be able to open and inspect your project and pin point what's causing the issues on your website's certificate.

I have the same problem , no one from GCP responds, so thinking of moving out of GCP.
