Hello, My analytics event exports have been broken since 2024. I've contacted the Firebase & Analytics team, and they say I need to discuss this with you (Google Cloud). How can I find out what the problem is and how to fix it?

Hi @ovteam,

Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

Here are several suggestions that may help resolve the issue:

  • Double-check if there have been any changes to the configurations since the data export stopped in 2024. This includes verifying any changes to the export configuration, datasets, or the expected schema, as well as reviewing BigQuery IAM roles and permissions. Ensure that the service account responsible for writing to BigQuery still has the necessary permissions.
  • Check the audit logs in BigQuery. To further analyze the issue, examine and review logs related to your event export, as these may provide more insights.
  • Analytics event exports may fail if you exceed your quotas and limits in BigQuery. Ensure that you're not exceeding these limits.
  • Confirm that the time zones between your Analytics and BigQuery are consistent, and that the reporting time zone remains unchanged.

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Google Cloud Support for further assistance, as they can provide insights into whether this behavior is specific to your project.
