Dataforms rest api

HI,

I notice the rest api of Datafomrs is name 1beta1 and its latest relesae is 0.11.  Does it mean this is a beat API? and if so, how does it impact the support in case of production usage?

Hi @martinterreni ,

Welcome to the Google Cloud Community!

You’re right that "1beta1" in the API name typically indicates that it is a beta version.Using a beta API in production is possible, but it requires careful planning, diligent testing, and a clear understanding of the risks involved.

I suggest contacting  Google Cloud support to get a clear understanding of the support terms and SLAs, and thoroughly evaluate your options before making a decision.

I dicovered athat there is a V1 version, but the documentation was not pointing to it. Was told by Google staff it will be fixed. Any way, it is present now in the documentation together with the beat.

Thanks!
