Near Realtime with Oracle 12C OCI and DataStream ¿Is it feasible?

Hi all

A prospect lead needs to extract data as near realtime from their Oracle 12C 1.0.2 instance hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as data source and to storage that data into BigQuery. We are consider DataStream as candidate service to implement the integration process, in past we have implemented a similar solution with Oracle 12C 1.0.2 hosted in On-Premise server.

Please ¿Anyone knows or has implemented a solution with Oracle 12C in OCI as data source to extract data with DataStream? If yes, please share or guide me with the highligth steps to be considered when the source is hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Datastream supports Oracle 12c databases as a source, including those hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The source Oracle database relies upon its Oracle Logminer feature for exposing changes to the data. Datastream supports all schemas or specific schemas from a given database, as well as all tables from the schemas or specific tables. All historical data is replicated and all data manipulation language (DML) changes, such as inserts, updates, and deletes from the specified databases and tables, are replicated.

Please note there are some known limitations for using Oracle database as a source with Datastream. For more details please refer to Google Datastream documentation for Oracle databases.
