Simba ODBC: Failed to shut down listener socket client

This error message pops up when Sign In button is clicked to authenticate the user.  It will take about 2 minutes before this message will pop up.  "[Simba][BigQuery] (100) Error interacting with REST API: Failed to shut down listener socket client."

Any idea why the authentication page won't open with the default browser.

Can you determine if you have a "default browser" defined in your Windows environment?  It looks like this is the recipe.  What is the browser on your Windows machine?  It would appear that some other users encountered this message/error when they had no default browser defined.

Yes, we do have.

This default apps is quite interesting.  Please see the screenshot I attached.  There 4 default apps for the browser in our laptop.  If we choose any of the top 3 apps on the list, the browser will not open.  But, if we choose the last one, it will work.  So, we are wondering how to make it work with other browser because we have users that does not have the last one.

Is there a way we can tell or link ODBC to the browser default app directly?  I am not sure why it won't work if the other browsers are set as default.
