Does Google plan to roll out point in time recovery for SQL Server in Cloud SQL?

So the question is in the subject. We have point-in-time-recovery(PITR) for Postgres but we don't have that option for SQL Server. It doesn't look like a serious approach. Yes, you probably can use sql server agent and studio for some PITR but it is not the same as API/Console based "official" supported way.

How you are dealing with this limitation?

Cheers,

Gleb

Yes, We do plan to rollout support for PITR feature with SQL-Server on Cloud SQL soon. Meanwhile we got workaround solution to support our customers. If you are GCP customer, please reach out to GCP Account team who will be happy to get you touch with SQL-Server specialist for further conversation.

Looking forward to that. Contacted our GCP Account representatives to get in touch with Cloud SQL team. Thanks for the advice.

Hi, is there any update on PITR for managed Cloud SQL for SQL Server on GCP? Thanks for any update.

We too are looking for this feature. Any updates on this?
