SQL stuck in "suspended" status

Hello everyone

I'm having an issue with my SQL instances.
Last friday, I deleted a GCP project, then I restored it. I then enabled the billing, thinking that the SQL instances inside this project would be back running in less than 24 hours.

However, 2 days later, it is still not the case. I can even create SQL instances without any issue, but my instances that were created before, are still not running.

Does anyone could help me ?

Thank you in advance.

If you have restored a GCP project and your SQL instances are not running, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check the status of the instances. In the Google Cloud console, go to the Cloud SQL Instances page. Select the instance that is not running, and then click the Overview tab.Check the Status section to see if the instance is still being restored.
  2. Restart the instance. If the instance is not being restored, try restarting it. To do this, click the Stop button, and then click the Start button.
  3. Create a new instance. If you are still unable to get the instance running, you may need to create a new instance. To do this, click the Create instance button. When you create the new instance, be sure to select the same region and instance type as the original instance. Additionally, ensure that the new instance has the correct configurations and settings, and is connected to the necessary networks and services.

If you have tried all of the above troubleshooting tips and you are still having trouble, you can contact Google Cloud support for assistance.

Additional notes:

  • It is important to note that changes and restoration in GCP might not be instantaneous, and a delay is expected. Please give the system some time to process and complete the operation, and keep checking the status.
  • If you are not comfortable performing the above troubleshooting steps, or if the steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Google Cloud support for assistance.
  • Before making any changes to your SQL instances, it is always best to have backups of your data and configurations in place. This will help prevent data loss in case something goes wrong.
  • Please refer to the official GCP documentation for the most accurate and up-to-date information on troubleshooting SQL instances.
  • Additionally, I recommend regularly checking the Cloud SQL logs for any errors or messages that can provide insights into the issues with the SQL instances. This can help you identify the root cause of the issue and resolve it more efficiently.

The instance status is "Suspended". I can't start nor stop the said instance.

I tried all the tips you wrote, and I still have an issue.
