Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

Google provides a number of services for remote data protection, including:

  1. Google Cloud Backup: This service offers centralized backup and recovery for on-premises data as well as resources on the Google Cloud Platform. It allows you to back up data to Google Cloud Storage and restore it as needed.
  2. In the event of a disaster, your virtual machines will automatically replicate and fail over thanks to the Google Cloud Disaster Recovery service. You can do this to replicate your workloads to a backup site and fail over to it if necessary.
  3. Unstructured data can be stored as objects in Google Cloud Storage. It provides high levels of scalability, durability, and availability, and it supports a variety of storage types for various use cases.

Is Google Cloud Backup protecting against the
increasing range of cyberattacks? Infection can spread to the backup copy, even to DR, right?
