Can anyone explain how we can use looker action hub for cell level action

I want to update the biqguery table from table look, I have tried data actions like mentioning the action parameter in the dimension and adding the cloud function url , but since clients are not willing to make the cloud function to allow all traffic , I am looking for other approach

For the production level application we cant use Data action that uses cloud function with allow all traffic right? in this case what other approaches to consider for this?
