Date filter with default settings= automatic date + yesterday

Hey, 

I'd like my date filter to look like automatic date but with yesterday's date filtered as default. 

The thing is. In the settings, If I select "yesterday" as default, the filter looks like an "Automatic Date Range" with selected date=yesterday : 

I want it to look like an "automatic date" : (but with default selected date= yesterday). If I select "automatic date" in the option, then the dates aren't filtered on yesterday by default :

How can I do that when my only options are to select "yesterday" or "automatic date"?

Tricky! I think you've enumerated both possible options. I don't think it's possible to get the date selector to show up AND default to yesterday. I recommend creating a feature request for the behavior you'd like to see!
