Possible to fill in missing dates with previous date's value or discontinue the lines?

Example time series chart

I have a line chart here and want to avoid the drops to 0 and spikes back up. Is it possible to fill in NULL dates with the previous dates value on the Looker-side? Or alternatively, discontinue the lines so the lines don’t go to 0. 

How do ya’ll deal with missing dates?
