Audio Recording /Audio Playing Field Type

Would be awesome to be able to play music through the app or even record audio through the app. Same principle as the image field but an Audio Recorder / Audio Player.

Endorsed. Have used appsheet for many years and drivers (non IT savy) have benefited hugely. This would take interactity and user adoption resistance to another level.

Just an aside, integrating phone msg (voice) from email into app. Should be low hanging fruit in feature release? Includes grabbing phone number from email to sync with phone contact previously established in app for inbound customers.

Although native support for audio is what we really need, it seems to me that we could get pretty close even with current AppSheet features if we could only get iOS to cooperate.  It's already possible to make an app that takes audio memos by combining AppSheet with the use of a recording app.  The files are saved in a File column and then accessible from any device using the same app.  It's only the iOS issue that's preventing me from making a template app to share with interested persons.  Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Being able to record audio would be extremely useful, especially for apps focused on logging observations, keeping logs, or similar purposes.
