I'm talking about something similar to Salesforce Metadata, where you can retrieve whole App into XML files and make changes in this file format. This would make development a lot easier.
We have been asking about something like this for a long time. Although talking about XML is a little too specific, I think if we have this featurein the future it will be a JSON.
Agree this idea would really improve the developer experience. Sometimes you want to build and test features in a separate app. The ability to do that and then import the new features as a set of new functionality rather than having to rebuild each tweak inside an existing app would really accelerate development of more complex feature sets. Thinking you’d want to be able to specify groups of tables, views, actions, and automations to make them portable to another app as a group, then to be able to select and map out whether you are replacing existing objects or adding new ones.
