Frustrated! The search feature is important and shouldn't be included with hide menu and search!

I’m sure this has been requested before but really needs to be addressed ASAP. We need the ability to search within the app but also need the ability to hide the side menu - separate these please!!!

Hello, I agree that this would be a nice option to have. For my use I don't need the side menu button as this app it used on one device. And I don't want the users to have access to the items in the side menu. However, I do need the search function. Thanks.

Hi you all... i wonder if its possible to hide this search button in some app sections?
As you can see in the screenshot, i have this start menu, so it is kinda lame to be able to search into that view...
Nevertheless,  it is nice to have the possibility to search in the other views of the app.
