Light / Dark (theme) Mode to be configured via USERSETTINGS()

Hi everyone,

Given Appsheet’s recent re-jiggle of the branding colours and the choice of Light / Dark mode… i would want to ask if we can trigger ‘dark’ mode on/off via the USERSETTINGS()

It’s very trendy right now and it’s offered on many app/websites.

I love AppSheet but sometimes I get the feeling it's an app that is being developed by one dude in his spare time in addition to his day job. That would explain the slow motion feature development. Kinda like me with the apps I create with it.

Anyway, yes please to this feature request.

I actually doubt that's the case given the continued development they do perform on the product. I feel safe in continuing to use it and believe it is an excellent solution. My note above was 90% unneeded snark. 🙂

@DaneAtBroadcom  I wish i could feel as safe as you, but after working for the past 2-3 years on a clients app im starting to feel the dread of telling them they paid for 3 years of developement for an app that will have its platform sunsetted soon.  Hope that isnt the case but wouldnt put it pass google to do something like that. As long as they dont pull the plug within the next 3 years im good. I like Snark when it has hints of truth..
