Map Polygons

As an agricultural professional, maps are very important, as I’m sure they are in environmental, geological, real estate and other fields. Having polygons (field boundaries), with all the same functionality that points currently have would be extremely helpful. Points do no sufficiently represent larger areas such as fields/plots/farms. At a minimum, I would recommend:

-KML import
-Select polygons for record information (or detailed view)
-Customize polygons - colors or symbols based on attributes
-Navigation button (to nearest point of boundary?)
-Use buttons to enter new records

A more advanced set of map tools could include:

-Draw/edit polygons
-Measure areas
-Geofencing (ie select polygon when user enters boundary)

Thank you!

I have tried almost everything to achieve the blessed polygons in appsheet (among many other things)... but you are right , in agriculture for example, it is essential, especially because the only device is the cell phone... (not all field workers have a truck or computer)

Being able to enter a polygon and have the application allow me to receive security instructions, add information or review the evolution is or rather would be wonderful.

The image (attached) is a miracle because I have not been able to replicate it... what I tried is to take the WKT from G Sheet to My Maps and add a formula in the Appsheet WKT (https://www.google.com/maps /d/u/1/kml?forcekml= Sheet ID )... but they appear and disappear...

I think it should be much easier to integrate the tools of, for example, My Map, Google Earth, Maps, chat, email, drive, etc... I refuse to settle for what exists!...

If we really want to reach everywhere with information, we have to be able to demonstrate to end users that they can do it and not standby when someone brings them a packaged and expensive solution... that annihilates our effort.

Sometimes it is difficult to convince people who believe that Appsheet is just a no-code game... it is much more than that and its potential is GIANT especially with the help of AI.

Question: How many Googlers use Appsheet? How about integrating Android Studio with Appsheet?

The only thing that is very difficult for me to understand is, why limit the potential consumption that could be given to the set of all intercommunicated tools?

I hope for the best,
