Optimizing Table Management in System-Type Apps: The Need for Table Grouping in AppSheet

For those of us who work with system-type apps, it is quite convenient to unify all tables within the same application due to maintenance. Personally, I use the AppSheet Work Standard Protocol method to name them in a way that maintains consistency.

It often happens that there are 80 tables (not counting the slices), and the application can have many areas; for example, one area for inventory, another for purchases, another for sales. In short, the more areas there are, the more tables there will be because (although some areas share tables, it is often necessary to create new ones).

By default, we have a grouping of slices under the same table, but in a situation like this, it may be necessary to create table groupings according to system areas. It would be beneficial if AppSheet allowed for "table grouping" and naming groups of tables. This would enable much faster and more organized navigation of the database within the editor.

I will use this. Same use case for me I have some apps with many tables. It would be useful to group them into categories/folders. In each of my app there are some tables that I need but never update. Moving them into a specific folder would make the menu more understandable.

Of course my friend, thank you very much for your support! Greetings, have a nice day @baba_sawane

this would be a great feature, same happens to me, sometimes i feel that i take more time looking for the table that i need to work on, that the actual change to the table.
