Please Update Feature Multi-Image Picker and Multi-File Upload

Hi Team,

Many Nocode Platforms such as PowerApps, AirtTable, LarkSuite, and Glide have been updated with a handy feature that accepts add Multi-Image Picker and Multi-File Upload and can show multiple images in a column but Appsheet hasn't yet.

Picker to add multiple pictures or Files to AppPicker to add multiple pictures or Files to App

Now our users have to add each picture to each column or add each picture to each row, I think it is very inconvenient.  Please consider updating this feature asap.

Thanks a lot,

Hien Nguyen

I would like you to add the functionality of a on camera barcode scanner to the next update so that we can scan data with just one click. With this function, there won't be a need to repeatedly open the camera for each scan, and any data can be scanned with a single click. Currently, we have to open the camera scanner for every entry, and after this update, there will be no need to open the camera, saving time and making the process faster.

I envision this being very challenging with AppSheet's current architecture. Other no-code platforms have their own file storage backends, so this is easier for them. AppSheet uses the AppOwner's file storage and database.

It's really frustrating that we're stuck with this single file upload process for each task. It's supposed to be a tool for efficiency, but instead, it's just slowing everything down. Think about it: uploading 10 files for 10 different records every time? That's 100 files! What should take less than a minute is now dragging on for 5-10 minutes.

And then you look at all these sophisticated chat apps, or stuff like AppSheet in Google Docs, tackling much more complex problems. It feels like our issue isn't getting the attention it deserves, not because it's too complex, but maybe it's just not seen as important enough.

From Tuesday, 12 December 2023 to Friday, 2 February 2024, there is a span of 52 days. This calculates to be precisely 4,492,800 seconds, 74,880 minutes, or 1,248 hours. Alternatively, we can say it is 7 weeks and 3 days.

However, it is quite surprising to see that the AppSheet team would take such a long time to make a decision. This level of inefficiency is quite concerning. It is unacceptable to not provide updates or any insight into the progress of the situation within this extensive time frame.
