Running a BOT interactively from end user form

Hello All,

Long time reviewer, first time poster. I have been doing quite a lot of work over past 12 months with AppSheet, and it is generally excellent. But, a simple feature that I cannot believe is not available is the ability to Run a BOT Automation in an Interactive way from an Action associated with a table. It seems I need to have an action on the table that creates a data change event that will then drive the BOT. When all I want to do is run the Bot as a result of an exposed Action that the end user could click.

Yes, Yes Yes!!!  How am I the first person to give this an upvote!?

What could be a simpler and yet more important ask!  If I can run a bot at midnight, why can't I press a button and run it right now?  If I can run a bot at midnight that will act on table x, why can't I, while looking at table y, press a button to activate the same bot.  It would save huge amounts of inelegant workarounds.

Agreed! The clumsy workaround of updating some dummy data in the row to trigger the bot makes things unnecessarily messy.
