Unable to read all metrics error in GKE autoscaler

I am new to k8s. I started learning k8s using Google cloud & set up a test cluster in GKE. The cluster & application is running. But I am seeing "Unable to read all metrics" error in Autoscaler part. I didn't define deployment YAML file manually. I used Google Cloud ui to add necessary information. I am not sure what went wrong. I entered all the required info in the UI. Ideally Google Cloud should set up everything correctly. I deleted & recreated the cluster again. But still no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.
