I'm reaching out for guidance on setting up my Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. I am new to GCP and currently working on a project with the following ID: talent-bridge-422915. I would appreciate any support or advice on the necessary steps to create and configure a project environment that will enable me to efficiently utilize GCP services.

Specifically, I need help with:

Setting up the core resources and best practices for a new environment

Configuring IAM roles and permissions

Ensuring proper billing setup

Welcome to Google Cloud Community and to Google Cloud as a whole!

For starters knowing the end goal of your environment/s would be helpful to determine better your needs, on it's own GC come with a pretty robust security as it is, if your project is Development oriented a good least privileges policy with IAM it's a good point to start.

Depending on the panorama your are facing with GC maybe creating an organization would be a great idea so instead of a linear project management you can have a proper hierarchy going on.

Again, it really depends on your scope and the type of audience that will interact with your environment, but as you asked, here are several resources that may help you on this journey.
